This hat pattern has been lost (or forgotten) in my archives for 4 years. My…how the time has flown by!! I didn’t particularly care for the yarn that I worked it up in and I always had plans to rework the pattern in another yarn but after 4 years I figure it just isn’t going to happen!! So therefore, I are offering it as a free pattern as is. You will see that it doesn’t look like the patterns that we are now publishing and my style of writing the pattern has changed over the last 4 years but the numbers should all work.

Two sizes are offered (Newborn to approx 12 months; and 12 to 24 months) as well as two different options for finishing (a buttoned chin strap or decorative hanging braids). The finished circumferences are 14.25” and 17.5”.
