Chirpy Bird
by Kadi Redman
Make your own little Chirpy Bird with this free pattern. It’s one size only, but by adjusting the yarn weight and hook size you can create your own sizes. This makes up a bit around 4” tall and 5” wide (including wings). A slightly smaller hook size for the yarn weight is recommended in order to achieve a nice tight stitch so the stuffing doesn’t show through.
The bird can be made following the stripe pattern given, or adjusted to add your own stripes, or can be crocheted in one colour. It’s up to you!
Scrap yarn is needed, as it is only a small finished piece. Safety eyes are recommended for the cute face but buttons or black yarn will also work.
