This is a fun, lace-knit with eyelet-cables separating the sides. Starting in the center with just 8 sts, you’ll increase as you knit the trees, heading to the lace edge and stockinette, where you’ll bind off the 1440 sts loosely. This would make a great shawl (the alpaca/silk blend is such a luscious, next to your skin “hand)) or an heirloom baby blanket.

Directions are charted and written and all the knitting is done in the round (so you can see you creation unfold before your eyes).

The design calls for approx 750 yards of a lace-weight alpaca/silk blend but this would also be stunning in any natural fiber lace-weight.

Enjoy!
