The Phoenix rises up to guard your Christmas goodies…

The Phoenix graces the upper part of the stocking with a representation of the Triquetra Celtic knot on the foot. The Triquetra Celtic knot represents the balance of Mind, Body and Spirit. It also represents death and rebirth, just as the Phoenix does.

Prompted by a discussion with a fellow Raveler and a request from my father, I was inspired to design the Christmas Phoenix stocking to be a companion to the Christmas Dragon stocking. The chart for the Phoenix has been planned so that the Phoenix faces two different directions depending on which way it is hung. That way it can either face the Dragon or look in the same direction as the Dragon.

There is another companion stocking as well - the Christmas Unicorn stocking

Again I recommend using a lighter color for the Phoenix and the Celtic knot, with a darker color for the background. Floats are less likely to show.
