Yarn weight: Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) 100% cotton
e.g. Catania Solids by Schachenmayr SMC, Yardage: 136 yards (124 meters)
Unit weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces), Gauge: 26.0 sts = 4 inches

You will need small amount of these colors:
Colors: 205 apple green, 115 red, 208 yellow – in case, you would like to make yellow “star” . You will need about 40 g of yarn totally.

Hook: 3 mm

Other material: needle with blunt tip, common needle, common sewing thread, toy filling, blue chenille wire average: 0.5 cm/0.2 inches, Christmas ribbon – width 0.9 cm/ 3/8″ - white, green, polka dot green about 120 cm/ 47 inches of each color, Christmas ribbon – width 1.5 cm/ 5/8”, red color about 120 cm/ 47 inches totally. 3 pieces of Christmas balls or embellishment on wire average 2.5 cm /1 inch, one piece of glitter polystyrene star on wire, average 2.5 cm /1 inch

Size of finished tree: height 22 cm (8.6 inches), measured without star. The size of finished creation depends on used material and your own style of crocheting.

Level: beginner/intermediate. Basic skills of crocheting are needed.
Chain (CH), Slip stitch (SlSt), Single crochet (SC), Double crochet (DC) , Increasing (inc): 2 SC in same stitch, Decreasing (dec): crochet 2 SC together
