Circe is a top down, triangular shawl with a lace border.

The shawl calls for approx 460 yds of dk weight yarn, however this may vary depending on whether you decide to knit to gauge….my finished shawl measures 63” wide and is 31” deep.

Gauge is suggested in the pattern, but its not important.

TURNS OUT THERE IS A PROBLEM!! I HAVE BEEN PURLING MY STITCHES THE WRONG WAY FOR ABOUT 30 YEARS, AND I TWIST THEM UNINTENTIONALLY!
SO, IF YOU WANT THE SAME EFFECT IN YOUR SHAWL YOU WILL NEED TO TWIST THE PURL STITCHES - SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION/ERRORS.
