Circle Vest Aran Weight
The aran weight version of the circle vest knits up quickly on size 9 needles using seamless construction and Cascade Eco+, which is an aran or bulky weight 100% wool yarn. This vest is easy to knit and takes advantage of the stretchiness of ribbing to provide a flattering fit. Knit stitches on each side of the ribbing make a built in edge for the armhole.
There are two versions: with ruffles (above) and without, depending on how fitted you wish the vest to be. The sample for this version was knit using 2 skeins of Cascade Eco+ in color 9448 for an aran weight vest in a 34” chest with 18 inch armholes. This vest is more fitted since there are not ruffles at the edge and there are only a few bust increases.
This pattern is available in other yarn weights: Circle Vest in 12 Sizes and 4 Yarn Weights and bulky weight version

Note:
The yardage measurements are VERY generous so you can knit the ruffle version or add additional rows if you are more busty or want it longer. If you wish to knit the plain version you will need about 20%-30% less yarn, maybe even less.
If you wish to create a fulled (felted) version you will need to knit all measurements approx. 30% larger and use larger needles- do a swatch to see how much your yarn shrinks.
