Circular Shrug
Errata available:
positivelycrochet.blogspot.com
Many people think this is a knitted shrug/cropped sweater. The sts make it look knitted. In fact almost everyone who sees this thinks it is knitted. (but it’s crochet) It’s is worked in a rectangle, then seamed into a circle, and sleeves are added. You have the option to make it sleeveless or with longer sleeves.
If you would like your shawl collar to be wider, make the ends (ribbed section) 7” instead of 5”. This will also make the shrug a little longer in the back. Many people have done this and the results were great. (see photo of shrug with variegated yarn)
