Claire's Capelet
This pattern creates a garment that is part cowl, part poncho. It is a modern capelet and can be worn over a long sleeve or short sleeve top as a fun accessory or to keep your neck and chest warm on cold days. The squishy turtle neck is comfy and warm and it slowly widens to drape over the shoulders and to the mid-arm. It is a delicate poncho, one that won’t overwhelm your outfit! This project, like most Crocheting with Claire patterns, works up quickly using two strands of worsted weight tweed yarn. The pattern contains instructions for Adult sizes XS (which would also fit a child) through XXL with instructions for increasing the length of your capelet. Enjoy this pattern and make one for yourself or as a gift this winter season!
