For the skirt is used Evilla Artyarn 8/2, but you can as well use Kauni yarn or other qualities in the same thickness. The upper part of the skirt, around the hips, is knitted in ribbed knitting and the lower part in an eyelet pattern.
The skirt on the picture is knitted in autumn colors, but of cause use what you like. To get the stripes broad enough is used 2 balls of equal colors and you knit from each ball every second row.
If you knit a large (or long) size you may use 3 balls.
Yarn supply: It can be necessary with some extra yarn due to be sure to have enough of all colors. For the skirt in the picture, which is 60 cm in length and 100 cm around the hips is used 220 g. At the next page you can see approximate yarn supplies for different sizes.
