Climbing Vining socks
This pattern is
available for free.
a cute but simple toe-up sock with easy 2 stitch cables.
This should be a pretty good pattern for people who are still newish to toe-up socks - maybe you’ve knit one or two plain pairs before and you’re wanting something a little more interesting but not completely mindboggling.
PLEASE NOTE: this is much easier if you can cable without a cable needle! The pattern as I knit it incorporates the Fish Lips Kiss heel, which you can buy for $1, or you can knit your preferred heel type. It’s written for magic loop, but would probably work on dpns too. Fits a womans medium foot. The pattern is pretty stretchy and could be resized by adding or subtracting stitches in multiples of 4.
