I love crocheting summer garments with fingering weight yarn (4 ply in the UK) and have plenty of such yarn leftovers. Usually they are utilized into something wearable. Here 6 yarns were combined into a seamless sweater where rows of solid double crochet stitches emphasized the contrasting lacy geometric patterns.

With the same pattern you can create sweaters or off-the-shoulder tops shown in photos. For lengthening sleeves and body just crochet more rows.

This crochet pattern is provided for sizes:
XS/S (bust 80-86 cm/31.5-34’’; upper arm width up to 24.5 cm/9.6‘’)
M (bust 92-98 cm/36-38.5’’, upper arm width up to 29.5 cm/11.6‘’)
L/XL (bust 104-110 cm/41-43.5’’, upper arm width up to 36 cm/14.2‘’)
2XL (bust 116-122 cm/45.5-48’’, upper arm width up to 41 cm/16.2‘’)
3XL/4XL (bust 128-134 cm/51-53’’, upper arm width up to 47 cm/18.5‘’)

Choosing the right YARN and HOOK to achieve great results

Yardage:
Off-white: 60 yards (for XS/S) - 115 yards (for 3XL/4XL)
Bronze: 115 yards (for XS/S) - 210 yards (for 3XL/4XL)
Undyed: 230 yards (for XS/S) - 445 yards (for 3XL/4XL)
Sky blue: 320 yards (for XS/S) - 680 yards (for 3XL/4XL)
Blue-grey: 340 yards (for XS/S) - 600 yards (for 3XL/4XL)
Dark blue: 500 yards (for XS/S) - 900 yards (for 3XL/4XL)
Weight of this sweater with the recommended yarn: 400-700 gr (for respectively XS and 4XL sizes).

Recommended fiber: cotton or linen with 40-70 % addition of bamboo, silk, rayon. Some of my testers achieved wonderful results with thin acrylic Loops & Threads Woolike. Make sure your gauge with 29 dc worked in 11 rows is 10 cm x 10 cm (4’’ x 4’’).
