Mittens inspired by clue #16 of Mystery Scarf 23.They are the 3rd pair to be published in the ebook Companion mittens, with six pairs of mittens inspired by the scarf.

These mittens come in two versions: One with a stitch count of 60, shown here, with gauge 30 sts to 10 cm, using a fingering or light sport weight yarn. This gives you a size woman small/medium.

The other version has a stitch count of 48, worked using a DK weight yarn with gauge 22 sts to 10 cm. This gives you a size woman medium/large.

Other sizes: Working the 48 stitch version in thinner yarn would give you a children’s size and working the 60 stitch version at a looser gauge, could give you a man’s size.
