Proof that even the most mundane of origins can create beautiful results, this pretty scarf was inspired by a corrugated roof.
MATERIALS
Rowan Pure Wool DK, 100% wool, 50g/130m/142yds
Shade: Enamel 013 x 5 balls
4.5mm hook
YARN ALTERNATIVES
Unfortunately this yarn has been discontinued. Use any pure wool DK-weight yarn to achieve a similar effect.
PATTERN NOTES
This scarf is easily adapted to any size, simply chain extra sts for a shawl or wrap size.
Made in two pieces, it is worked from the bottom edge, row by row. The crescent shape is achieved by varying the stitch size, which creates the lace holes.
A picot shell border finishes it off.

Exact tension is not essential for this project.
