DESIGN NOTES:
The mesh body of the purse and the individual motifs are crocheted first, then they are blocked and starched lightly. The leaves and large flowers are then sewn onto the mesh. The side seams of the purse are sewn and then the small flowers are added. A trim is crocheted along the opening of the purse. Satin cords are woven through the spaces along the opening of the purse to make a drawstring. Beads are then sewn onto the centres of the flowers.
