This familiar floor tile pattern is cleverly captured in crochet, with a timeless design that will complement any decor.

Fun and quick to work, a change of color can add a whole new dimension. You have to pay attention when joining, but the stitches used are basic dc, sc, tr, and slip stitch.

Requires from 1100 to 1600 yards of Aran or worsted weight yarn. I used 11 skeins of Vanna’s Choice in Mustard and 4 skeins of White for a 44” x 54” afghan.
