Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct finished gauge

GAUGE
28 sts = 4” / 10 cm in patt st on larger needles
21 sts = 4” / 10 cm in St st on larger needles
For accurate sizing, always take time to check finished gauge.

PATTERN NOTES
The scheme is planned as a light (colour A), a dark (colour B) and a bright (colour C). You can choose to have two colours in the same family with one contrast colour as in the purple sample, or you can go with three different colours that work well together as in the green sample.
The cast-on is a variation of the long-tail tubular cast-on that allows the 1 x 2 rib pattern to start right away. The tutorial begins on page
3 after the Finishing section.
Although this is ribbing, it doesn’t have quite the same stretch as one-colour ribbing due to the stranding. Plan for only about 1” of negative ease.
