Criss Cross Apricot Shawlette
Criss Cross Apricot is a deep crescent shape shawlette that features a Russian Cables and Lace Border and ribbed cable body center panel. It is knit from the bottom up using short rows to achieve the crescent shape. I knit it in fingering weight yarn, although it would also work well in sport or DK weight. The yarn I chose was Madelinetosh’s Tosh Merino Light in fingering weight in the shade of Nectar. The skein had 420 yards on it, and I used almost all of it. Lightweight and very wearable, it is sort of a hybrid between a small shawlette and a scarf. After blocking, it measures 11 inches at the center, deepest point, and is five and a half feet end to end. Full written instructions, row counts, and charts are included in the pattern.
A few people mentioned they were having trouble reading the large charts of the shawlette body in this pattern and in my Morning Dove one. Please click into the discussion in my group for more info on this: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/fans-of-pam-jemelian-designs
