PDF pattern to make stylish summer shoes - espadrilles! These crochet espadrilles can be great shoes for your vacation and summer time. They are very comfortable, adapt to your feet perfectly and are easy-to-wear barefoot.

PDF document has 9 pages which include detailed descriptions and 35 step by step pictures, which illustrate the working process.

Pattern is written in American English crochet terms, however measurement and sizes are presented in EU as well in US terms.

MATERIALS

-Espadrille soles.
-Crochet hook 2mm/B1 or 5 steel (As I noticed US B1 crochet hook size, sometimes is converted to 2mm or 2.25mm EU, thus 5 steel can also be fine). It is ok to use pretty small crochet hook as it helps to crochet tight, which is really important in crocheting shoes.
-100 meters (328 ft) of cotton/linen cord (1.5 mm/0.05 inch diameter) or several strands of cotton/linen yarn which would be ok to obtain the gauge. For example 2 strands of cotton yarn, which fits the measurements 50 g =110 m (1.7oz = 360 ft).
-Cotton yarn (optional). If you are using a cotton cord for crocheting, it is a bit too hard for crocheting sc on the edges of the heel part, so if you choose to do that, you should use more soft cotton yarn for it.
-Scissors.
-Tapestry needle.
-Cotton ribbon (optional). You can crochet a chain instead.
