A great graphghan to practice reading from charts.

This project could be made into a tea towel, a wall hanging or afghan.

This chart is based on US terminology.

Stitches used:
ch= chain
sc = single crochet
slip stitch

Graphghans are simple to follow and much easier if you can either print out and highlight your progress with a marker or use a computer program to mark off your progress as you work.

Crochet with Right Hand? - Graphghans are worked from right to left starting at the bottom.
Crochet with Left Hand? - Graphghans are worked from left to right starting at the bottom.

This project’ final measurements will depend on the yarn and hook you use.

Stitch Count - 60 wide x 94 high

To begin your graphghan you will chain 61 (extra chain is for turning and to keep your edges nice and straight) you will then follow the chart depending on which hand you crochet with and complete single crochet stitches following the colour changes as you go along.
