When do we start and how long does the CAL run?
CAL started on 11 January 2016 and it will not run for less than 20 weeks.

Can I join?
Anyone can join the Crochet/Hekel Mandala CAL 2016 Facebook Group based CAL, but if you are here to just watch, then this group is not for you.

What is the size of the Mandala?
The size is not known yet as it is still in development stage. The shape will be round and can be used as a throw, blanket, table cloth or maybe as a kitchen curtain.

What yarn will I use?
The Mandala is designed and tested with MoYa 100% organic cotton and Ilona 3.5mm hook. I believe in quality and natural fiber yarns. All 45 MoYa colours will be used.

You don’t have to use MoYa but remember that you may need to alter some chains in the pattern. The quantity of yarn will depend on yourself as well as the colors you want to use. It is like a colouring book. You use the colors what you like. It is estimated that approximately 2kg MoYa DK cotton will be required. It might differ a bit.

Where do I get the pattern?
The Mandala CAL is my initiative and also my own design and therefore I have the copyright. I ask you not to share the pattern but rather refer people to the Facebook Group. I put in a lot of effort to make the pattern easy and photos will be added as well.

US terminology is used for the pattern.

What if I struggle with the pattern?
You are welcome to request help within the Facebook Group. There will always be someone to assist you.
