This is a .pdf crochet pattern, written in standard American crochet terms. With this very easy pattern, you can make a whimsical rabbit doll.

NOTE: Finse received a makeover in March 2018. The first projects here were made with the previous version of the pattern. At the bottom of this listing you can learn what’s new with Finse.

6.7 inch / 17 cm when sitting, when made with worsted weight yarn.

The crochet pattern contains
An intro with useful info. List of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right. All my patterns are text edited for correct English and have been tested by an experienced crocheter before publishing.

Materials
For this rabbit you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need two colours, murky brown (3/4 of a 100 yard skein) and camel (1/4). These quantities are estimates. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads) and a very dark brown embroidery yarn. Lopi colour numbers: 1400 and 1420.

Yarn
Istex Lett lopi. I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result.

Gauge
Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed. You can make a little test swap to be sure.

What’s new with Finse
