This is a gorgeous pattern I made by holding 7 strands of size 20 cotton thread together as I crocheted.

The gauge is as follows:
6 rows= 2 inches
14 stitches= 3 inches.

It measures 27 inches long, and 7 inches wide. However, different sizes can be obtained by using a different hook or different yarn. This pattern would work wonderfully with many different types of yarn.
