I’m sure you’ve heard those amazing stories about cats surviving falls from incredible heights. This is not one of those stories.

The example was made with worsted weight (8 or 10 ply) wool yarns using US size F/3.75mm hook, but almost any yarn could be used with the corresponding hook size. Splat Cat measures approximately 8 inches long & 5 inches wide. But of course size will change depending on choice of yarn & needle.

The tail & body are worked flat in one piece, and the eyeballs, legs, and ears are made separately and sewn on.
