This pattern will adapt well to various needle and yarn sizes, but I don’t recommend using yarn lighter than sport weight, since the stitch won’t be as striking with a smaller size. You may want to use a smaller hook if you crochet loosely, but one of the nice things about the pattern is its adaptability.
