Dainty Shells Fingerless Mitts
These dainty fingerless mitts are a lovely addition to that special outfit. Sunday dress, weddings, Steampunk costume- you name it, these can fit the bill perfectly.
These mitts are worked from the cuff upwards to the fingertips, and the edging is added on afterwards. Beads can be used to embellish these beauties if you so desire.
The pattern is written and charted and includes sm/med/large sizes and further instructions for customizing fit and length.
The yarn recommended in this pattern has been discontinued, but you can always substitute your favorite #10 thread or lace-weight yarn. Pattern is written to use @300 yds. If you desire longer mitts, you’ll need more yardage (obviously ;) )
You’ll need 1.75mm hook for the thread, and if you are adding beads I recommend using a 1.4mm hook.
