Dandelion Wishes Necklace
This pattern is considered an easy pattern as far as working it up but since you are working with wire & thread, I would consider it an advanced beginner pattern. But don’t worry, because I have lots of tips & photos to help you in working with the wire.
Materials needed :
26 or 28 gauge wire (I do not recommend using floral wire)
Cotton Thread (size 5 or 10)
6/0 Seed Beads
Tapestry needle for sewing in ends
Scissors
Wire cutters Beading needle
Other Materials Needed: Nylon Pliers (optional unless you need to “frog” your wire)
Special Stitches used:
ch: chain Sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
sc inc: single crochet increase
(): repeat same stitches
: stitches into same st
NF: Neat Finish or Invisible Finish
FO: fasten off
The possibilities are literally endless! Be creative with it! If you are really feeling adventurous, add beads to your wire & then crochet your medallion. I would love to see what you come up with so please feel free to add your projects & link them to me on Ravelry. I really hope you enjoy this beautiful necklace as much as I do!
