Based on Osgood’s scarf from Day of the Doctor, this scarf is knit in a 1x1 rib. Gauge isn’t crucial, but should measure approximately 26 stitches unstretched by 18 rows in a 4”x4” square. You can substitute different yarn; I used Vanna’s Choice because I had a lot of it left over from knitting a 4th Doctor scarf, and Red Heart Aran because it was similar in weight, and I couldn’t find a similar off-white in Vanna’s Choice. There wasn’t a noticeable difference between the two brands in the completed scarf.
