A ribbed texture is achieved by using FP and BP dc.

As all my crochet slippers, also this pair is turned into street-shoes!
Cord-Soles are joined to the bottoms as a final finish.

MATERIALS:

Yarn:
Worsted/4. 100 % cotton, or any suitable yarn for this project, obtaining the gauge-info in instruction.

My yarn:
Double-stranded crochet-thread # 3.
Recommended, as you achieve a stiff and sturdy fabric, perfect for this project.
150 g ball (5.3 oz), 435 m (476 yd)
(100 g ball (3,6 oz), 290 m (318 yd)
(50 g ball (1.8 oz), 145 m (159 yd)

WPI (Wrap per inch): 21.

Any brand for crochet thread # 3 will do fine.
E.g.: Aunt Lydia’s Crochet thread Fashion 3.

Sizes:
Small = US 3 - 4 / EU 35-36
Medium = US 5 - 6 / EU 37-38
Large = US 7 - 8/ EU 39-40
Extra Large = 9-10 / EU 41-42
