Split Ring Stitch Markers

Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

Diagonal Lace Pattern: 2 rows

Hood portion of Cowl is shaped with short rows.

The Diagonal Lace pattern will cause the piece to slant diagonally. The top of hood short row shaping is not worked at the exact center of the rows, to compensate for the slant.

Finishing: Block lightly. Seam ends, so that piece is a loop.
