This pattern is written in standard American (US) terms, in English language, with step-by-step instruction and plenty pictures for succesfull completing of your work (10 pages). Needed material:
• fine yarn/ sport/ 5 ply/ 12 wpi/ calls for 3 mm hook
• hook 3 mm
• tapestry needle
• common sewing needle and threads
• scissors
• 2 black spangles
• 2 black and 2 white beads average 3 mm, beads size 8/0

I used this yarn:
Catania Solids by Schachenmayr SMC, 100% purse mercerized cotton
Yarn weight: Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi),
Yardage: 136 yards (124 meters)
Unit weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
Gauge: 26.0 sts = 4 inches

You will need these colors: 110 black, 105 white, 222 light pink, 383 cinnamon. You will need about 10 grams of yarn totally.

Size of finished appliqué: the dogie appliqué is 11 cm/4.4 inches tall and 8.5 cm/ 3.9 inches width. Please remember, that the size of finished appliqué depends on used material and your own style of crocheting also.

Level: easy, but basic skills are needed! :-). You should know, how to crochet these stitches:
Chain (CH), Slip stitch (SlSt), Single crochet (SC), Half double crochet (HDC), Double crochet (DC)
Increasing (inc): 2 stitches in same stitch, Decreasing (dec): 2 stitches together
