He is 17 inches long and 5 1/2 inches tall with a wing span of 23 inches when fully spread out. The wings are made the wire in them so they can fold in and out.

The two I have made while creating this pattern were made with Red Heart Super Saver - but any worsted weight 4 yarn will work great.
