This easy reverse-stockinette flower looks sweet in any gauge, and almost any colour! Add a leaf or two (lots of patterns available on Ravelry), and a pin, to make a noteworthy brooch -- or sew it to a collar, headband, or other item as a 3D accent.

It was inspired by a pin given to me to support the World Wildlife Fund (made by a group at Cricket Cove) -- when it was eaten by my favourite canine, I tried to recreate it. I don’t claim to have designed it myself, just put it into a pattern for others to use.
