Please note: I am not a professional pattern writer or expert crocheter! I taught myself to crochet using YouTube videos around Thanksgiving of 2013. I just want to share this pattern because of some positive comments and “how’d you do it” feedback. I welcome your constructive, respectful criticism! <3

This bag worked up quickly, maybe in two to three hours. I’m not sure since I didn’t work on it start to finish.

I placed the straps/buttons on the sides of the bag to accommodate placing larger items like an iPad or Kindle in the bag without having to unbutton the bag from the walker. This bag is also handy for a wheelchair, as you can adjust the placement of the straps/buttons easily to suit the model of wheelchair or walker.

My grandmother loved being able to carry her iPad, tissues, reading glasses, wallet, and cell phone with her around the house and to and from physical therapy using this bag. She used it daily for about three months and it held up well. Since I used acrylic Red Heart Super Saver, it is machine washable/dryable, and has held up through two washings. Highly recommend using a strong acrylic or cotton for this project for washability.
