The pattern turns out a gorgeous cardigan with the softly curved front of a shrug. Worked flat except for the sleeves, it has generous pockets, raglan decreases, and a comfortable fit. Fit is based on measurements, so an accurate gauge swatch is a necessity.

The cable pattern used is from the Creature Comforts Cardi by Madelinetosh and as such will not be replicated here - just the basic sweater. Any repeating cable panel can be inserted in the back, though.

• A second set of US Size 8s for the pockets
