Elm Street
One of the dangers of owning a dye studio is constantly being surrounded by beautiful, inspirational yarn.
When this particular skein of yarn came out of the dye pot, I knew it needed to become something special. It was far too pretty to hide away as a pair of plain vanilla socks in a pair of boots.
It needed to stand out and draw attention – and what better way to do that than with a pair of lace socks in my favourite dressy wedges? Elm Street is comprised of a Drooping Elm lace panel, flanked by columns of twisted stitches and clean, minimalist ribbing. The result is a fun, flirty lace sock with a good snug fit. It’s perfect for pairing with your favourite skirt and heels.
A solid, semi-solid or muted-multi is best for this sock to show the pattern well.
