Elven Leaf is a variation of my Knitted Fitted Pussyhat. The difference is that there is a large embossed leaf in the center front ribbing. I designed this for the March for Science 2017 but it looks great in pink (blush, blush). Please enjoy and vary any way you see fit. And share! Please share.

I used Malabrigo Merino Worsted for this hat but I dyed the color myself. I think it approximates Malabrigo’s Apple Green, though, so give that a whirl. Any Aran weight will do. If you want a breezier hat for warmer weather, you could use a dk weight and still knit it on 9s or 10s. I find that at least on me the ears still stand up in a looser knit fabric, especially with the fitting at the crown.
