This is a pattern I wrote for a presentation on Irish Crochet. A traditional Irish Rose can be a little complicated so I wrote this pattern to be a little easier to crochet. By doing that, it does look a little different in that the petals curve down instead of up like in most Irish Rose patterns. The curving down of the petals, however, works well as a cover. I have also added a leaf pattern for the end of the tape and some modifications for smaller thread or for a more open look.
