There is a chart for the star pattern on the backs of two of the five pairs of gloves pictured on the front of the leaflet.

There are four patterns for: Fairisle gloves and Fairisle mitts (both with the star pattern on backs); lacy gloves and cabled mitts. Although sizing includes a men’s size, probably only the star-patterned gloves/mitts are intended for men.

Please note that the grey gloves in the photo by Cablemabel were knitted in 1971, and are similar but not quite the same as the Studley #314 pattern published in 1983.
