Falling Bobbins
by Amy King
This pattern is available
for $4.00.
I’ve always loved this lace pattern. In my Gram’s old pattern books it’s called a scroll pattern. To me it looks like my pile of bobbins in their storage basket. In this yarn it’s a lighter cowl that feelS luxurious thanks to the bamboo in it. It’s warm enough to take off the chill but pretty to wear just because.
Measurements: 20 inch circumference. 9 inches tall.
Yarn: Spunky Eclectic Baby Panda in colorway “Just a Tart” 1 skein (280 yards each)
Gauge: Over pattern – 6.5 SPI, 8 RPI
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) 16 inch circulars or a larger circular using the magic loop technique
SPINNERS! This pattern can be done in other gauges but it certainly wouldn’t look the same. If you’re spinning yarn for this the final WPI to shoot for is 22 WPI
