I developed this pattern for an event at Schuler Books. The event supported Lansing Comfort Bears, a local effort to put stuffed animals in police cruisers in the event a child is in a traumatic situation.

I expected participants from never-knit-before to professional knit instructor. I did get that variety. The pattern here is a slightly different version than that which I handed out the night of the event.
