This is an advanced pattern since it uses the crocodile stitch, it is worked from the bottom up in one single piece. It is slightly difficult to see in the photos but the top/“head” is made of shell stitches and the body is made of crocodile stitch to resemble feathers.

Since the crocodile stitch comes out thick, the bag holds it’s circular shape when set down.
