Ed. note: If you are substituting another yarn, it must be 100% feltable wool if you plan to felt the project.

Size 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles

Scarf lace edging chart is provided. Edging is worked in rows. (Make 2 pieces.)

To finish the scarf, pick up stitches along the lace edging. Work scarf body in Seed Stitch. Design includes slit for ease of wear.

Sew other edge to lace edging.

Felt to finish.

Recommended: If you are making the set, make the hat first and use the remainder of the yarn for the scarf.
