The original knitnotwar 1,o0o project debuted in June 2010 and involved over 100 knitters in the display of 1,000 beautiful knit origami style cranes. This is the updated pattern (the original pattern created a larger style crane, this pattern makes a little smaller crane).

The pattern is available for free on Ravelry, in several books, and from my website (www.knitnotwar.com). However, due to the number of emails that I have received regarding the project in the wake of the recent tragedies in Japan, I am placing the pattern up for sale here, all proceeds to benefit Mercy Corp.
