This crochet tote is lined with a velveteen fabric (I used an outgrown dress of my daughter’s) and has a magnetic snap closure. The crochet facing adds bulk and stability to the tote’s rim. The crochet straps are reminiscent of spring’s emerging fiddlehead ferns. Mercerised cotton adds a light sheen, and is an easy yarn to crochet. A pocket added to the lining holds little essentials.
