This pattern was inspired by the fingerless gloves worn by the character Fiona in the US version of the show Shameless on Showtime in season 1. Matching hat and scarf pattern to follow! Note: I knit each mitten (right & left) with different size needles. For a roomier mitten use the US size 5 & 7. For a more snug fit use the US size 4 & 6 needles. Each fit my hands beautifully.

Materials/Tools:
US Size 4/5 Circular Needle 40” cord
US Size 6/7 Circular Needle 40” cord
200-300 yards Worsted weight yarn in Main color and contrasting color. Sample made with The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Squish Worsted in colorways Squished Dirty Dandelion and The Last Best Place.

10 sts 14 rnds = 2” seed stitch US size 7

Snug Fit:
16 sts 17 rnds = 2” in 1x1 ribbing US size 4
11 sts 16 rds = 2” seed stitch US size 6
