Fireside Sweater
For non-USA customers: The pattern should now be available again (1/9/2015). Let me know if you have any problems.
Full Disclosure: You must be able to read charts for this pattern. It’s my first pattern. I knit this sweater in the x-small size. I did math to upsize this sweater. Also, I knit this in a heavy yarn because I live in a cold place.
Tips: Sweater charts start on Wrong Side. This pattern is 17 pages. There are certain parts of the charts that are in color for ease of use. So print the pattern in color or review the pattern pdf on your computer prior to knitting.
The Fireside Sweater is a shawl-collared cabled cardigan. The overlapping center cable continues through the dramatic shawl collar. Smaller cables along the sides accent the larger cables in the middle containing the buttons and buttonholes.
Finished size 30” (34”, 38”, 42”) bust, also referred to as x-small (small, medium, large) in the pattern
Yarn Valley Yarns Berkshire (85\% wool, 15\% alpaca; 100 grams; 141 yards), 9 (10, 12, 13) balls
Needles Size 10 (6.00 mm) circulars or straights, or whatever you need to get gauge.
Notions waste yarn/stitch holders. 4 buttons.
Thank you so much birchblanket and physis for the tech editing and proofing to make this happen.
