Fleur Botanique Shawlette
Somebody has been in the garden cutting flowers to create a bouquet, and the stems show up along the border of the Fleur Botanique Shawlette, while the pansies are scattered in the middle of the shawlette’s border. This shawlette is crescent shaped, and knit from the bottom border upwards to a lace short row body. I used 4 skeins of Cascade Yarns sport weight pima cotton fine yarn in their ultra pima fine yarn (136.7 yards per skein in the shade of pink sapphire) to make this shawlette. The finished shawlette measures just under 6 feet end to end, and at 18” at the center deepest point, however this takes into account making it up in a stretchy cotton sport weight yarn. If the yarn you choose to make this shawlette up in is not cotton, you will most likely produce a smaller size shawlette. Charts and full written instructions are included for the entire pattern.
