These toe guards are extremely easy to make and to customize. I came up with the idea after my GF and her mom complained about their plastic flip-flops rubbing them raw. And thus toe protectors were born! Also known as thong cozies.

I believe these little guys would make it much easier to add decorations to plastic flip-flops as well. I could see attaching a flower or star at the top of them to give them some flair.
