Floppy Doll
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
When I couldn’t find a pattern for just the kind of doll I wanted to make, I decided to make my own. My Floppy Doll is about 11 inches tall, but she won’t stand on her own. Her name comes from her flattened, floppy joints, that allow her to assume many different poses. She also has some shaping to give her a chin and neck, as well as a waist and hips.
While the base pattern makes a single-color doll that you can dress in external clothes, it should be fairly easy to adapt to crochet clothes directly onto her.
This pattern does not include hair. You can add hair in whatever manner you prefer (e.g., rooting, wig caps, wedges).
